January 2014

Saturday January 25th 2014

We may not be full at this time of year but we are certainly busy. Most of our current guests are long hairs requiring significant grooming and although most are a pleasure to do, I have to admit there are one or two little boys who think rolling around on the floor and playing in their litter trays is a much better idea than being well groomed!
Two of Edwina's kittens, Peaches & Pippin came to stay for a few days last week - Uncle Dylan was pleased to see them but Weeny took one look and tossed her head in the air and haughtily left the building.

Happy New Year

Well 2014 is well and truly upon us and with it, more stormy weather! Although well and truly sodden, with the trees often at right angles to their trunks, we have had a calm if busy Christmas and New Year Season.

Most of our yuletide guests have now departed, the last few leaving us within the next week. All have been happy and contented and some have even put in requests to take their heat lamps with them!

So now we turn our attention to Summer holidays or perhaps an Easter trip to warmer climes - but please remember to book the cats in first!
